Initially trained as an industrial photographer, Elke has experience working with a wide range of subjects, in the studio and on location. However, her specialty lies in architecture, overlooked phenomena of our daily life and in expanding the concept of photography to what she introduces as phasmagraphy – capturing what lies beyond our visible spectrum. She is curious to explore other aspects of photography such as stereoscopic imaging, panorama photography, and further aspects of recording light or other electromagnetic radiation.
